​Infant Massage & Bodywork-

Infant Massage typically involves parents and caregivers. The visit is about an hour in length. During that time, I will guide parents/caregivers through a full body massage for their baby and review the benefits of infant massage and the best setting & time to do it. I will also address any concerns or prior medical diagnoses, offering additional massage techniques for these things. If the parents/caregivers are interested, I will address how essential oils and other natural methods may benefit their unique situation. If this is discussed, I will review essential oil safety for newborns and young children, making recommendations as appropriate.

Infant & Pediatric Bodywork is typically performed by me to address various concerns; Oral restriction, flat head, torticollis, digestive issues, etc. I will assign exercises/homework, and make appropriate referrals as needed. First sessions are anywhere from an hour to 90 minutes in length, and follow-up sessions are 30 minutes, up to an hour. The ultimate goal is for your little one to graduate from therapy with me, unless there is a chronic issue that needs to continuously be addressed.

As a mom myself, I know that raising a child often takes a village and also that families come in all shapes & sizes- Parents, grandparents, nannies, and any other people in the caregiver-role are welcome!

Pediatric Massage-

I have a passion for working with children and have been lucky enough to work with this population since I was first a Massage Therapist, over 16 years ago! I have applied massage for children participating in sports, those dealing with stress and/or depression, those who have injuries or medical conditions, and for children simply wanting to experience massage. I have seen the most benefit in children dealing with chronic headaches/migraines, and also apply my prior experience as a pediatric athlete when working with this age group. For children under 16, a parent/guardian must sign-off & remain in the room during the session. For those who are 16 and 17, a parent or guardian must still issue written consent, but for them to remain in the room is up to that child and the adult. At any time, I am happy to discuss my concerns and make appropriate recommendations/referrals as needed- I definitely believe in a holistic approach when working with people of any age!

I am happy to come to you, especially if you have a new baby at home! Travel fee will apply for locations over a certain travel time or distance.
